Chapter one The story begins with Calli and her owner resting in their house, but Calli chose to take a nap upon the windowsill. Calli’s owner decides to go outside to drink his coffee. Calli would decide to sneak out, like the cunning little kitten she is. Calli: Wow! It finally feels nice to get out once in a while. Calli’s owner would get himself a cup of coffee as Calli ventured the streets of her home in Thailand. The streets were bustling with life: kids running around, markets doing what a market does, and the vendors selling stuff. As Calli walked around, she admired the glistening beauty of the stars above. She realized that her owner would soon be looking for her, so Calli went home quickly. Owner: Thank goodness you are back! Where have you been? Unfortunately for her, Calli could not understand human language, so she tilted her head Owner: I’ll prepare your dinner, your bed, and your breakfast for when you wake up in the morning. Calli’s owner loved his pet very dearly. He couldn’t imagine what it would be like to not be with her. Whilst preparing Calli’s dinner, he noticed his pet cat sleeping near the kitchen Owner: Well, at least I have some company with me now. Despite her sleeping. The dinner would finally be ready, and Calli’s owner would gently place the bowl near Calli’s nose. Owner: I’ll head on to bed now, goodnight Calli. He would then head upstairs to his bedroom, to go to sleep. The following morning, her owner would step outside to water the plants in his garden. Suddenly, the neighborhood kids somehow managed to kick a soccer ball into the owner’s garden. Disappointed, but not upset, the owner gave the ball back to them. Kids: Thank you sir! Owner: No problem After the nice conversation, he would eventually decide to sit on his front porch whilst reading today’s newspaper. Nothing bad or good happened that day. In the afternoon, Calli decided to take a nap. Unbeknownst to her, the local sailor, who recently got out of prison for kidnapping, noticed that Calli happened to be a Bhao Manee cat, which costs around ฿229,977.85 to ฿361393.85 ($7,000 to $11,000). He looked around, no one was there. So, when he was in the clear, the sailor kidnapped Calli, to sell her. The sailor then went back inside the boat, unlocked the basement, then tossed Calli down there. She would still be fast asleep, since she was a very deep sleeper. Not even an asteroid could wake her up. Eventually, by some waves crashing, she woke up. Calli didn’t know where she was, all she knew was that her home was stationary. The lost kitten glanced around the perimeter of the basement. It was as dark as the Earth during a solar eclipse. Calli was not one to fear the darkness, in fact, she loves it. The darkness makes her feel as if she was the bright moon amongst a dark night sky. But she felt confined to that area. The feeling of exhaustion waved over her, so she went back to her spot to take a nap. The sailor, having one of his men sail the boat, went downstairs to make sure that Calli didn’t starve to death. She was reluctant to eat the cat food, but chose to. It smelled absolutely horrible. Calli almost puked. The ship then stopped at a boat station
