This is a remake of my earlier game, Fracturing the Depository, which in turn is a really bad remake of PuffballUnited's Breaking the Bank. This is part of a series where I poorly remake The Henry Stickmin Collection (+ some fangames of it). After negotiating the chasm through a series of roundabout choices, he can now rob the famously unfamous Nowhere Bank, perched on top of a high desert plateau. Will he get in and fix his financial problems? Find out for yourself! This game has one ending: The Chronicle Initiates Try to find them all! Like before, you can click See Inside for Concept Art and Bios! The Concept Art will have random drawings, unused drawings, and other stuff that may or may not be in the game. The Bios... are just like the ones in The Henry Stickmin Collection, just without the collecting part. So read it to your heart's content for lore stuff. I like lore. Updates: 04/06/2026 - THE GAME HAS BEEN RELEASED!!!!!!
I already explained why I remade this and Negotiating the Chasm in the previous remake, so go play it: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1287854666/ here's the original: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/787472336/ Differences from the Original: I got rid of Stick Guy's circle hands (which is actually a part of my art style) because it's stupid. I think it's stupid and unnecessary and having stick hands is fine and it's easier to animate! The rigged/tweened/puppet animation, whatever you call it, I GOT RID OF THAT TOO. I thought that would make things easier than drawing him frame by frame, but it didn't. It made him STIFF and HARDER to animate, which is a lose-lose situation. I've always intended the title themes to be a poor recreation of their title themes in The Henry Stickmin Collection. Obviously, Crossing the Pit wasn't a part of that collection, so I poorly remade the Toppat Theme instead for NtC's title theme instead. Anyway, this game's title theme is a lot more faithful than the OG FtD, and it doesn't go off-sync anymore, which makes me kinda sad because that was actually kinda funny... A lot of the choices are different in how they go, obviously, but they're basically all the same concept as the original. I tried to keep the game faithful to the OG because I think it's already okay! I just think it has a few issues and stuff I could do better. The worst difference is that this game wasn't released on leap day... SIGH... Credits time: Henry Stickmin is owned by Innersloth and PuffballsUnited. Voice acting from me, Mari, and Card. Cast in the ingame credits. ALL CODE IS MINE. Original game is Breaking the Bank. The music I made was made on Chrome Music Lab. Copyrighted music is from DOOM Eternal (Mick Gordon). Copyright-free music is from Electro-Light.
