Due to a mix of trust issues, fears of abandonment, and generally not having a great past with others, it prefers not to get close or even be near other cats, feeling that it'll almost always lead to something, somehow, going wrong. As a result of this though, they've grown to be extremely independent and self-reliant, which is frequently a double-edged sword. While they can depend on itself and even be greatly resourceful, that doesn't diminish their resistance to outside help, which as you can guess, ties back to its difficulties around trust. One thing about them remains true, however: Solanine is a cat of many secrets, yet few words.
