Chapter 9: Silverfern looked closer at the pool. She wanted to know if Wavestar was just mad about Stoneheart not being able to save her or that he knew. As she peered closer she fell in. She splashed around in the water for a moment before… it disappeared? What had happened. She opened her eyes to find herself in a place completely black except for an odd purple line. Then to line opened to an eye. It had an hourglass pupil. The one she had seen before appearing in StarClan. She jumped in surprise. Then the eye took form in a cat she had once known. Her father, Stormgaze. “What?” SilverFern whispered. Her father looked at her before opening his mouth to speak. “Starclan can’t let you stay dead. I gave the powers to the wrong one. I’ll give the rest to you.” Suddenly SilverFern felt so many feelings, yet, somehow, none were hers. “You can now feel everyone else’s feelings.” He explained. Then she was back by her body. Her father was beside her. He was transparent. A ghost. He gestured to her body and she lay down in it. She blinked her eyes open to hear Wavestar telling a story about her. A wave of sadness hit her. Everyone was sad. Except for one person.
