However, she will call herself 'the scribe' around cats of a higher social status. - Pierce is /very/ good with her words, and believes she is writing out the story of the Court with them. (I mean, she's partially not wrong...?) - The author isn't the oldest kit, but the youngest. She believes this connects her to a 'higher power', due to believing that the youngest kit of each litter spent more time with this 'higher power', and is more favoured. This, unfortunately, means she doesn't fly under the radar as she would like at times, and will likely end up being babied by her siblings. - The last thing Pierce remembers from her parents and life before the flood was cold light. - I think that, a long time ago, Pierce was nice.
