ABOUT ME: Hi hi hi! I'm @Taurloth, or Cy. I'm a teen who loves reading, plants, and daydreaming. I've been rping on scratch for quite a while now and have hosted a rp of my own. Generally I go for human/humanoid fantasy rps but I do love the structure and detail in gens. I've only had two gens cats so far, Magnoliapaw of Mossclan and Glorious of the Pyrothys. If your interested more information can be found on their bio projects... https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1188607748/ (mags) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1244169011/ (glorious) ...though please keep in mind Mags's isn't up to date. MY APPLICATION: I'm applying for Bladderwort! Why? Firstly the name, I love longer names and carnivorous plants are always cool. Plus, their design is gorgeous. I love the colours, and the undereye markings in particular. Urchinclan seems to have the best lore potential. Lastly, there's a full six kits in the litter, and more siblings to RP with is always a good thing. BLADDERWORT: Gender: Non-binary Pronouns: They/them Sexuality: Aromantic + asexual Personality: ...Simplified: +Thoughtful +Imaginative =Quiet =Solidary -Resentful -Judgemental ...Detailed: Bladderwort's a quiet kit, usually found sitting on a nice rock and staring off into the distance. To anyone watching, it would seem they don't do anything at all. The way Bladderwort sees things, this couldn't be further from the truth, they must always be doing something, because they are always thinking. During the day, they're wondering about anything and everything they see. When lying in their nest, trying to sleep, they're imagining stories. Their imaginative nature extends into a want to explore and discover. They'll spend most of their kithood wondering about the territory outside camp, and their first act as an apprentice will be to run off and see it for themself. They'll take an interest in other clans' territories, but find them strange and even alien compared to the familiarity of Urchinclan's consistent crashing waves and salty breeze. This adventurous streak will be kept in check by Bladderwort's more cautious side. While they'll never let uncertainty stop such explorations, they'll also never run off without a plan. This applies to other areas of life as well. They wake up and decide what they want to achieve for the day, they have a set approach to training, hunting, even conversations, and they absolutely hate making things up on the go. Bladderwortkit is easily able to keep themself entertained with only their mind, and they take this as a reason not to 'need' the other kits. Other kits are, in their eyes, always too loud or too silly or just annoying. Bladderwort doesn't mind letting them know this, though they'd avoid fighting and shouting, they're perfectly capable of expressing annoyance with a pointed glare or deep frown. Quiet, solidary activities appeal to them much more than the rough and tumble of kit games, and they tend to keep to themself as a result. Puzzles delight them, they love having something to think over and take equal satisfaction from coming to a decision or answer as they do from a question with open viewpoints to muse over instead of a single conclusive result. Despite their love of the tranquillity that comes with solidarity, they take great comfort in the presence of a close friend. As a kit, they like to be close to their siblings, even if it's just sitting nearby and watching them play.
TRIVIA: + Loves bouldering, but avoids the competitions apprentices sometimes have. + Prefers cold to hot weather. + Loves bugs, especially the more bizarre looking ones. + Favourite time of day is right before the sun rises. + Gets up early, but hates staying up late. + Considers themself a realist. Actually a pessimist. PLANS: + Ghost mentor: It shouldn't be too hard to find one, considering the size of the family tree. I plan to have Bladderwort first meet theirs after becoming a ranger, to fit with UC lore. What would be interesting is if I could find them a starclan mentor, instead of darkforest, to give Bladderwort something to think over. Follow the teachings of their ghostly mentor or stay loyal to their clan and family... Depending on who's leading UC at the time it could also be an interesting lore point/secret to keep. + Family: Bladderwort forms strong opinions on cats, and their family will be no exemption. As a kit, they love each and every one of their siblings, considering them all a thousand times better and more kind than any other kit in the nursery. This changes as they grow and begin abandoning such bias in favour of paying attention to their actual actions. While their littermates don't annoy them as easily as other cats, no matter how loud or clingy they may be, Bladderwort will be quick to confront them on more serious matters, and won't take kindly to being ignored. + Friends: They'll get along more naturally with cats who's conversation they find interesting, and who are calmer and more sensible. That being said I do love the idea of them becoming besties with some loud, bubbly cat they initially found annoying. CLOSING WORDS: Firstly, sorry this is so rushed. Since it's FCFS, I wanted to get this in quick, but I plan on continuing to add detail/ideas up until the kits are registered. Hastiness aside, I hope you like it!
