I’m Mel or Lo, an artist, writer, scratcher, roleplayer, and theatre kid. I’m a minor and try to be a pretty positive person around people both online and in person. I enjoy making new friends and learning new things, my favorite subject in school is English as I get to both write and read! I was first introduced to warrior cats when I was pretty young, and while I still enjoy the series I do not plan on finishing all of it (because there is like a million books lol). My first experience with roleplaying was almost three years ago at this point, and was in person with some irl friends. Online I’ve been roleplaying for a few months, though I’m not sure the exact length. I’ve been in several roleplays over my time in the rp community, though I’ll get into that later in this application! ❝ PUDDLES SOAKING INTO THE GROUND ❞ who am i applying for? ✦ I’m applying for the one and only… Dewdrop! ✦ I love applying for litters, yet recently have been trying to cut back on the litters I’m applying for. However, when I saw Dewdrop, I knew I had to apply! First the design is so unique and colorful, it instantly caught my eye. I can see myself doodling this silly bean! Second, I feel like having a character in Falconclan would be really fun. Being able to roleplay learning how to fly seems so fun and exciting, and I already have plot point ideas based on that. Third, I just feel a bit connection to the personality and ideas I have! I’ve grown to be really attached to them, and can imagine roleplaying them out with Dewdrop! ❝ FALLING, EACH DROP ❞ trivia + plot ideas ✦ Put in a forum to save room, see here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/874647/?page=1#post-9070988 ❝ ONTO THE COLD STONE FLOOR ❞ activity and experience ✦ I’m not super busy as a lot of my activities are over, yet I still do have school. I’d say my activity is around 9/10, and most of my time on scratch is spent roleplaying. ✦ I would believe I have a lot of experience, I’ve been in a lot of roleplays including Generations, Tfcrp, and yes, TSS. Past roleplay characters: ✦ Ashtrill, She/her, Tfcrp - Ashtrill was my first roleplay character on scratch. I admit, I was not the best roleplayer at that time and her personality and story was… boring, kind of? She was kind, sweet, and shy around new cats, but eventually that personality became uninteresting to roleplay for me and I had grown so much as a roleplayer that I couldn’t continue her story. ✦ Emberkit, She/they, Generations - I’m pretty sure Emmie and Ashtrill overlapped. I was really excited when I was accepted for Emberkit, and role played her lots. Her personality was a more cheery and really energetic one, and it was fun for me to play as her! She ended up oofing to weekly kit, a Generations function that randomly oofs a kit each week. ✦ Koipond, she/they/it, Generations - Soon after Ember I got Koi. Her personality was similar to Emmie’s, yet I wanted a bigger focus on story telling, and was fun to roleplay! I’m still pretty proud of Koipond, I gave her a lot of lore and they had a very interesting story. I won’t explain all of her lore, but she ended up leaving its clan to become a loner, becoming mates with a cat from her former clan, and starting a small loner group. ✦ Eveningbreeze, They/Fae/It, Tfcrp - Evening was my next Tfcrp character, and had a protective and really fierce personality. I enjoyed roleplaying them, and can’t exactly remember why I oofed fae. I did actually do a bio for them, and I’m still proud of the ref I did! ✦ Violetkit, He/They, Generations - Vio was an interesting character, and one I like roleplaying! He had an awkward personality, and it was fun to figure out how that played into interactions! They unfortunately oofed while trying to sneak out of camp, a different Generations function that has a 50% chance of death, though provides apt if survived. Current characters ✦ Sunstonewatcher, He/Fae/it, TSS - Sunstone currently takes up my first TSS spot. He is a Cavernclan cat, and I’m having a lot of fun roleplaying him! I won fae when they were a kit from a litter, and it has a teasing-older-sibling kind of personality. ✦ LegendSong, genderlfuid, any pronouns, Generations - I’m really proud of Lettie! They are a medic in their clan, and have a personality similar to an Annabeth (if you have read Percy Jackson). + continued in Notes and Credits
+ continued from instructions! ❝ OH, WHY WON’T IT JUST GO AWAY ❞ personality ✦ positives (+) Caring, Creative, Hard working, Polite, Positive, Collected, Agreeable, Loyal, Curious ✦ neutrals (=) Quiet, Shy at first, Cautious, Antisocial, Timid, Formal, Perfectionist ✦ negatives (—) Solitary, Forgetful, Avoidant, Stubborn, Clingy, Pushover DEWDROP is the one in the corner, always watching, but never with menace. His eyes are instead filled with careful kindness, cautious in his timid ways. He tries to be the best version of hisself, always working and smiling, and some times he does believe his lie of a life. Yet, on the inside he is always nervous, too scared to even stray from his ways a tiny bit. To others, DEWDROP makes sense. To himself? Things couldn’t be more confusing. He often tries to pretend normalcy, while following others around and acting like them. If they are doing OK, he should be as well by doing the same. Right? He dreams of ideas for things yet gives them all away, never wanting to keep anything to himself. Despite keeping his own secrets, he feels bad lying, and has to do so through gritted teeth. While avoiding both challenges and others, he often misses out on things, that he lives to regret later. DEWDROP feels exposed when not hidden, and so often hides. Both hiding his personality and himself, he finds comfort in silence of being alone. Where he does not have to listen with carefulness to remember the smallest things, where he does not have to worry if people really are behind his back. ❝ AND LEAVE ME ALONE ❞ research ✦ I have chosen to give Dewdrop anxiety, as I feel like it is shown in his personality and would be interesting to roleplay him overcoming it. ✦ Research was stored in a forum, to save room.
