♪ The main theme of the top-secret Take Flight game. Play the game (it's disguised as "CRAB QUEST II") https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1297060239 ════════════════ COMPOSER: @S_Cabbage ════════════════ Now that I have a minute, allow me to give you some insight to this game. I started this project shortly after "retiring" to see if I could make a Take Flight game in 1 day. I managed to make the player, the background, and an enemy, but that's pretty much it. I sorta forgot about the project by the next day. Flash forward to nearly a year later, March 28, 2026. I was struggling to decide how to follow up the award winning "CRAB QUEST", since its esteemed anniversary was quickly approaching. Eventually I figured, instead of looking like an actual game only to be a joke, the sequel should look like a joke only to be an actual game. Here's the problem: April 1st was in four days. How was I supposed to pull together an actual game in that time? That's when I remembered... I had a Take Flight game specifically designed to be made quickly sitting right there! So, I got to work. On that day, I wanna say I made about 80% of the game. I must've worked for about 12 hours straight (don't recommend), and that work included this monumental 4-stage song. Now for some fun facts: This is my longest song to date. Each of the 4 sections are about 37 seconds long, and the intro is about 18, making the whole song clock in at almost 3 minutes. Okay, one more thing: If you listen closely to the second section, you'll hear a certain... "crabby" leitmotif. ════════════════ CRAB QUEST https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1150873704 Take Flight Series https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33007110
