hi!! new art contest just dropped ive been long unhappy with my own lack of development with the gatheringplace its just kind of "a cave" and thats literally it in contrast to its sister location, stars mouth, which has a ton of work put into its design by milo and i to make it fun and unique but, honestly? i dont really know what i want to do with it instead. so i thought a design contest might be fun!! i think the gatheringplace is unique and fun because it doesnt necessarily have to have any ancient lore relevance (because it was only established as the gatheringplace after the creation of flurryclan) but is still an important landmark with lots of potential to be interacted with in creative ways by modern characters so i think itd be really fun to let you guys have a hand at designing and having fun coming up with something unique feel free to scrap the cave idea entirely and just start over with it, do whatever you'd like --- requirements / notes - - the gatheringplace is in between mossclan and flurryclan but is farther from urchinclan (since urchin was created later),, check the map for approximate location - the moon should be visible during the gathering to allow for starclan to show their judgement by having clouds cover it or whatnot idk - big enough where a large crowd could comfortably be - art isnt strictly required but heavily suggested,, doesnt even need to be polished or anything just a sketch would be really really cool - not required but its heavily suggested you explain why you did certain design elements !! - generations takes place in a fantasy area in the upper northern hemisphere --- winning / prizes - i dont know if there will be one winner or multiple, as i may want to mix and match ideas from multiple entries in order to create a collaborative piece that i feel fits the world well - with permission, of course. this uncertainty makes it really hard for me to want to promise prizes for the winners as i'm unsure how many there will be so instead im just going to be offering a small prize for entering,, which is any one loner OR ghost accessory for your character --- contest ends mar 31st in time for our next gathering
