i want to say something to fill the awkward silence with empty words but i don't know what to say and the silence stays quiet because both of us don't know what to tell the other how to say that we've both been feeling tired lately that the world is getting heavier with each passing day and i wish i had said something before you were gone just a "how are you" or "How was your day" maybe even an "are you ok?" to which you would lie "i'm good", "it was great" "yeah, i'm fine" but maybe you would've been a little better because you knew i cared because i had said something #poetry #poems #poem
