Scroll down for story. Sorry I'm so late with this one TvT Emily POV today! I hang up the phone and slip it into the inside pocket of my blazer. When I walk out, Alix is standing against the wall. “How is she?” “She’s alright,” I tell him. “Still a little shell-shocked, I think.” “By the argument with Lia?” he asks. “And the-” I stop myself, remembering that he doesn’t know that we k1ssed. “Yeah. The argument.” “How did Tallulah take the news that you’ve been getting bullied all day?” Alix turns to me. “I…” I look away. “I didn’t tell her.” I mumble. “I didn’t want to worry her when she’s already going through so much.” “I get it.” Alix glances down the corridor. “We should get going. Don’t want to be late to period three.” “Yeah.” We make our way down the corridor, being careful to avoid any popular people who might want to be mean to me. Period three is boring, but period four’s alright. Period five, though, we have P.E and our current topic is dance. We have to work with a partner for six weeks to create a dance sequence to a song. I’ve been working on it with Bella, and we have three weeks left. Lia was working with Tallulah, but since she isn’t in today, she’s having to work with Alix. I feel bad for him, although Lia is cooperating. He’s blushing like mad and looks dead uncomfortable (he hates physical touch). Paige is working with Evie, and she looks quite happy. The teachers won’t let her wear her chewable necklace in P.E, so she generally gets stressed out and puts her ear defenders on. “What if we, like, do a lift?” Bella asks. “Ooh, yeah, during the crescendo?” I’m excited by the idea. I’ve done lifts before in ballet, and I always get lifted by my friend Jace, so I don’t really mind. “How would we go about doing it, ballet expert?” she asks. I smile. “Well, you place your hands on my waist,” She does. “You need to make sure you properly bend your legs,” “How do I do that?” she looks confused, so I remove her hands from my hips and demonstrate. “Ah, okay.” She puts her hands back on my waist. “Do you have a strong core?” I ask. “I’m small, so I’m pretty light, but it’s still quite hard.” “I’d say I do.” she nods. “Okay, that’s good. Ready on three. One…” She bends her legs. “Two…” I stabilise myself. “Three!”
