[Animated on Procreate] INFO: Name: Haizen Pronouns/Gender: Agender; She/They Species: Semi-Benevolent Deity Abilities and Supernatural Traits: Haizen is immortal, and has lived for about an hundred and fifty thousand years. She's quite strong, incredibly durable, and capable of prolonged flight. She's also a very good swimmer. Haizen has the ability to induce trances or hypnotic-like states by changing the color of her fur in patterns similar to those that cuttlefish use when they hunt. It makes getting food incredibly easy, although she does have a tendency to start doing it accidentally if she's particularly hungry. She can also turn semi-corporeal (aka see-through and barely there), but it's very uncomfortable to do, and very hard to keep up for more than a moment or two without flickering back to full view. Occupation: Haizen is constantly trying to keep the entity that will someday be the inevitable end of her world- and all others like it- at bay. She is among the oldest of a group of immortal world-protectors, and finds the puzzling task fascinating where it has driven others mad. Friends/Relations: Haizen isn't really a people-person, but she does enjoy interacting with Soulguarde, another world-protector, albeit much younger. Random Facts: - Haizen's antennae are electroreceptors! They let her sense where things are around her- which is great, because her eyesight isn't that good. Must be the spiral pupils. - Haizen feels guilty eating creatures she deems 'intelligent', so her diet consists of mainly fish and other aquatic-dwelling creatures. Her favorite would be marlin, but those are rare, so she settles for shrimp and prawns. - She has twelve teeth- four canines on each side, and two incisors on her upper and lower jaw in the very front. - Haizen's quite noisy in flight (imagine how loud a giant wasp would be while flying, oh god), and she's actually suffered minor hearing loss due to the volume. - There are only 3 visible spikes on her tail, but she has quite a few more buried beneath the fur! They come off like a very large bee stinger if stabbed into something, and grow back in a few days. - Haizen can manually adjust her color beyond patterns for short periods if it's a solid shade, but it gives her cramps and she prefers not to unless absolutely necessary :) - Haizen has a double-tiered halo! She's supposed to wear it around her antennae to signify her Important Position Within Her World, but it interferes with her electroreception, so she just... doesn't wear it.
