Vincent's backstory: Vincent was born into a family of blacksmiths, his father teaching him everything he could, until he was 7 years old, a pack of bandits brutally m/rdered his father while he was out at the markets with his mother. When they arrived home they found his c0rpse on the floor of the kitchen. The bandits heard them arrive and walked into the kitchen, m/rdering his mother in front of him. Her blo0d splattering across his face. The bandits ignored him, taking most of the valuables in his home. As the bandits left he was left alone in his empty house. He walked out of the house, his frame trembling as he looked around. Homes with doors swung wide open, blo0d trailing everywhere. His village was m@ss@cred. That day on, he swore to protect everyone he loved..no matter the cost. Soon, he met a rider. The rider offered shelter, but Vincent denied, asking how he could become a rider. The rider took him to the academy and Vincent learned quickly. Creating a bond with his chosen dragon. And finally..becoming a rider. His promise he made, he was now able to fulfill it, and protect the world. For now.
