Use your favorite keys to drive the taxi. Carefully land on the magna-pads to pick up passengers and take them where they want to go. If you didn't hear what a passenger said or forgot where they were going, you can land on any platform for a visual prompt. If you are playing without sound you can press T to toggle text bubbles on/off. Press up arrow to propel upwards to counteract the gravity. Left and Right to propel cab along. Once the cab has momentum it won't stop moving until you propel in the opposite direction. If you hold the keys down too long you will increase in speed and it will take longer to slow down. Land on magna-pads slowly by letting the taxi fall naturally and briefly pressing up if the descent becomes too fast.
This is a hack which replaces the music and sound effects (except the voices) with Atari TIA (2600/7800) sound effects I made in Furnace Tracker! I am very proud of this and consider this a demonstration of my sound design capabilities, and for any other Atari fanatics out there, hopefully you will agree :) I made the TIA wordmark, btw hehe There are still other minor sound effects I did not handle yet, although I will get to, eventually And yes, an Atari game is not complete without the Charge! motif lol
