It was a normal day. Parents fighting about who got the last coconut, and who would name the dragonet. Crack. Both heads turned. “It’s hatching” a loud voice grumbled. Inside the egg, the small dragonet pushed harder, wanting to see the world. Crrraaack. A small claw made its way out of the egg, from body part to body part, finally the top of the egg coming off. A rather giant sandwing scooped him up. (Mother). The dragonet thought. “Ah-ha! It thought of mother first! I get to name him!” Another big dragon, who looked very happy at his first thought, grinned. The other big dragon dropped the dragonet, sighing. “Alright. You name the kid. Don’t make it too stupid though, Desert.” (Desert. Desert is mother.) He may not have understood very well, but he knew in his heart, he would protect this dragon at all costs, even if it cost him his life. “Badger. His name is badger” his mother said proudly.
This was a little story I’ve been writing on notes. Lmk if I should post more chapters. Badger is my babeh. Also if possible eventually I’ll make refs and maybe someone could like turn this into a comic?
