(Press space for pictures) I have been playing Rec Room for around 5 years, starting at about the age of 11. It is still one of my favorite games. Rec Room shuts down as of June 1st, 2026, the 10th anniversary of the game. Rec Room is a social hangout game (sort of like VRChat, but with a more positive and wholesome community). It is overall a really great game, myself and many others are very dissapoined and sad to see it go. The game had a good run. I made some very close friends, and some I still talk to despite the game getting shut down. I just want to say how greatful I am for all of the people I met in my journey. Remember, give it your Rec Room best. Thank you all.
Despite the game shutting down, me and 2 other friends of mine will still be playing the game up until the official shut down.
