My new favorite GOISE TAS, an absolute feast of trickjumps <3 It's so cool that no changes are required for the simple upside down map to be possible yet such a big and consistent challenge! Truly a masterpiece. In a different way than my previous TAS, you'll miss things if you blink lol. You can increase *WAIT* to see it in slow-mo... As with many TASes, the more you scrutinize this, the more you can appreciate its beauty. Many of these jumps are far from basic. 4 backcatches and 5 intentional bonks is unheard of!!!! This is also the most optimized GOISE TAS to date. Any% is still the one I spent the most time and effort optimizing, but now I've gotten significantly more efficient and more knowledgeable, so even though I'm not triple-checking everything as thoroughly as in the any% TAS, this one likely still came out closer to perfection. Combined with this being the coolest-looking (subjective) of my TASes, that's why it's my top pick :3 Looking back, I think church might have the most chance of being imperfect. Maybe it can't be as amazing as the frontcatch on if else (because you have to go upwards, not just forwards), but still probably better than whatever this is. The starting position is arbitrary, this is not an existing category anyways. I could've included space but that was boring so starting hanging down on the star felt reasonable. The end position is the same as the water trigger on the og map. Shoutout to @AUnitSquare for working this out with me a while back! It started off with some discussions, then the first recording showcasing most of the jumps is here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1008504568 and the rest came gradually, it's the remixes as well as the remixes of the first remix. All jumps being proven possible, what would it take to stitch a run together? This project has been in my to-do list since then. And well, here we are, two years later, with a full run of this map, and not a bad one to say the least. Next step, RTA? xD Uh, this is probably the hardest map/mod ever proven. If we're talking strictly custom maps, GOI BUT ARGH (GBA) by @GDOR11 holds the record and it's rated 10/10 on the difficulty scale. This upside down map would probably land around 11, but it's hard to say because, as calibrated currently, the scale literally doesn't go hard enough for this map lol. The single hardest jump here is the one from the big truck to the melon at SS-DC, which is of similar difficulty to buffed mega furni skip from fridge in GBA, and they're an order of magnitude harder than normal mega furni skip. This jump here is actually extremely forgiving, even the worst falls only taking 10 seconds to recover from, but the end of the map more than makes up for it; starting from midway through DC, all the way to the water, an average fall is an instant end to the run as you can fall all the way to space. This entire section is filled with extremely precise and risky jumps of comparable difficulty to the average GBA hard jump, but you must do them all first try. If there is one more GOISE category in which TASes destroy humans, it might be this one. This thing is arguably crazier than my last TAS because instead of only being over twice as fast, it's infinitely so!! - Thanks to for his awesome game GOISE (Getting Over It Scratch Edition) :D - Thanks to for the original TAS engine that I used to make mine :D - Thanks to for not only helping me build kowledge about this game over the last few years, but even speifically going through every single jump in this TAS to review it and spark discussions so our brains expand :D
