[ For the Poland Universe ] This war was simulated (begins, and ends) in only one project. It is a lore-building war. Take it as a filler war. Centennia has decided to begin its first steps of salvation; beginning with the invasion of New Mexico. [READ THE RP IN THE CREDITS BEFORE CONTINUING TO SCROLL HERE, I RAN OUT OF SPACE TO WRITE RP SO THE REST OF IT CONTINUES HERE.] [YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED] After the New Mexcian militia surrendered, Albuquerque soon fell after, forcing the New Mexican government to capitulate, evenutally leading to full annexation of the country, giving birth to the United States of Salvation.
4:02 AM, MST A transmission was received by the New Mexican Airspace Authorities. It was unusual to receive a transmission so early into the morning, especially as it the linked transmission location was unknown... The transmission read: "...Surrender..." 4:03 AM, MST Almost immediately after this transmission, Centennian troops (75-85.000) were spotted entering New Mexican territory. Using the camouflage of the early morning, the blackened infantry-wear provided the Centennian troops a huge advantage. This would lead to a crucial victory at Raton Pass and Tres Piedras, occupying the crucial highways of US-285 and old route of I-25 north of New Mexico, while also forcing the New Mexican militia to flee south to Springer and Pojoaque, with Pojoaque acting as the barricade before entering Santa Fe. 5:10 AM, MST Springer fell quite fast as incoming heavy infantry wrecked havoc on the small town, ravaging most of the city with mortar fire, causing a large retreat to Las Vegas (yes, there is a city in new mexico called las vegas do NOT ask why). 5:44 AM, MST Pojoaque was put under siege but still fell relatively quickly. Centennian troops put use of the OHaST system to easily discover heat signatures of defense heading into the dark sunrise, providing the Centennian Air Force to wreck havoc onto defensive positions across US-84, leaving supply and power hubs destroyed. This consequently left Santa Fe without power aswell, causing mass panic as citizens rushed to flee the city. 7:05 AM, MST Centennian troops after occupying Pojoaque entered Santa Fe, expecting to meet up with the other force (still in Las Vegas). The Centennian troops in Santa Fe decided to hold out on sieging the city and waited until the troops in LV reached the Santa Fe foothills. This gave New Mexico just enough time to enact a small counterattack as an attempt to retake Pojoaque, using the "burning earth" tactic as a last resort. The Centennian army was very surprised by this attack and forced multiple regiments to flee up to Lake Peak, leaving those troops stranded there as the fire slowly grew larger. 8:45 AM, MST Centennian troops in Las Vegas were finally able to capitulate the city, and once they reached Santa Fe, they saw a sight never seen before. The sky was orangish-red covered in a dark, stormy sky, while smoky ash clouds covered the Santa Fe skyline. The fire that the New Mexican militia started had evolved into an uncontrollable wildfire, spreading across the Santa Fe Foothills and Tesuque. The troops stranded on Lake Peak were forced to trek through the mountains to get down, as the original route up (SH-475) had been consumed by the fire half way down. By this time, the New Mexican militia had fled the city, preparing Santa Ana Pueblo for defense right outside of Albuquerque. 1:21 PM, MST It took hours to capitulate the Santa Fe fire, leaving most of the city burnt and blackened out, while many Centennian troops and New Mexican citizens suffered heavy casualities. (Total 15.000 dead) The tired Centennian troops continued their trek south to Santa Ana Pueblo, meeting resistance along the path of the old I-25 route and capturing unoccupied territory left after the New Mexican militia fled south. 3:02 PM, MST Finally, after 2 grueling hours, the Centennian army had reached Santa Ana Pueblo. But, they were met with extreme resistance. The New Mexican militia had spent the 7 hours they had to prepare Santa Ana Pueblo building an extremely efficient line of defensive positions and lines made to combat the Centennian Army. What would result after this would become the bloodiest battle of this war... THE BATTLE OF SANTA ANA PUEBLO, 2406 3:10 PM, MST 55.000 MEN - CENTENNIA 31.750 MEN - NEW MEXICO Centennian troops had begun to raid fire upon Santa Ana Pueblo, using what remaining supply they had to attack upon the New Mexican militia. Supply and air backup wouldn't arrive until late nighttime, so Centennian troops were forced to improvise. Algodones was used as a defensive hub to station men down the Rio Grande and the Jemez Canyon Reservoir, where many forts sat. The bumpy terrain sitting between this reservoir and Santa Ana Pueblo and Bernalillo gave way for a brutal battle between the New Mexican miltia and the Centenian Army. 5:15 PM, MST The Centennian army enacted multiple coordinated skirmishes that took place from 5:15 to 6:25 PM, consisting of multiple mortar fire attacks, many of which had missed their targets of New Mexican defense (due to the sunset, the Sun caused many men to miss their aim). As a countermeasure, the New Mexican militia began to enact a direct attack onto Algodones via. the old pathing of I-25, causing many Centennian men to divert and defend Algodones. Many Centennian men remained though, and dove straight into Santa Ana Pueblo, effectively encircling the New Mexican militia attacking Algodones, forcing the New Mexican militia to surrender after an extremely bloody battle.
