I finally updated his design! Maki // Sushi Male (He/Him) Age: 17 Ethnicity: Japanese Nationality: American Personality: Fun-loving and lighthearted. Very sociable. Other: He has a deep love for the sea and its ocean-life. Used to frequently go fishing with his dad, which established his interest in the sea. He has a pet dog named "Shrimpy." Facts: "Maki" refers to the Japanese word for "wrapping/coiling." All rolled sushi rolls end with the word Maki (ex: Uramaki, Temaki, Maki) as you know, they're wrapped. While the name is a feminine name, there are still a plenty of males who are given this name. I originally wanted to give him shorts, but to admit, I'm pretty bad at drawing legs, so I just gave him some baggy pants. (He's still stylish!) His earring is meant to reference his fishtail. I'm probably going to experiment more with his outfit(s) as I feel as if this is a bit too on-the-nose and I'm not the biggest fan of the colors.
