saint stared up at the stars, the cool air of the barrens feeling nice on his usually hot skin. ah, it was nice to just stay out in the moonlight, to cool down after the heat of the desert. his ceremony was soon, when he'd become a trainee in one of the three groups. he was so excited, his fur would probably have fallen off if he had any. saint stared up at the stars, tears threatening his eyes as he did. what happened? where did he go? where was acrimonyhaunt, and where was grief of the sun, and where was /he/? for the first time, the green-skinned tom felt lost. hopeless. was anything worth it anymore? surely not without his friends. ...and then he learned of the rebellion. at first, it had just been to help take down the clans, but then... he met cats. one in particular. a seaclan-cavernclan hybrid named mercilesspaw. and she... she was like him, in a way. but she didn't take anything from him, either. she wasn't afraid to call his bluff, to talk back to him, and it was amazing. and he learned that maybe the clans weren't all that bad. saint stared up at the stars, his exhaustion finally wearing him down. eight pieces of prey, caught for cavernclan, and here he was, an apprentice of cavernclan. he was excited, truthfully, just really worn out from everything taking place in one day. he was going to prove that he belonged here. he would be the best apprentice ever. saintoath stared up at the stars. he smiled softly. he'd seen mercilesspaw again, now mercilessveil, and they'd caught up. he'd forgot how much he'd missed having someone to just... talk to the way he could talk to her. it was nice having someone who would call you out and still laugh. and he had an apprentice now, halfpaw. they were great. the tom didn't think he'd ever regret his choice to join cavernclan. saintoath stared up at the sky. his eyes were wide. wow. he had a kit now. apparently. huh. bitterkit was her name. after acrimonyhaunt. there was another kit in the nursery around her age, too. enmitykit, he thought? the kit always seemed weirdly attached to him and no one ever claimed to be his parent. maybe he was just being raised by the clan. for now, he'd just try to get through. one year of this silly little normal cat. honestly, if you'd told me when i applied for saint that he'd be in cavernclan and one of their most loyal members, i would've laughed but look at him now. i love saintoath, even if i'm not the most active with him. he's strayed so far from his original counterpart, yet still so true to it. he's still the same cat he's always been, just in a different role than i'd expected. i can't wait for more. a special thank you to everyone below! - : daybreakstar has been a huge part of saintoath's development and i cannot thank you enough for the rebellion and allowing him to join cavernclan. - : bitterkit is the only one of saintoath's children he knows is his and she is... still not treated great. you were great as joyspirit and i'm really looking forward to roleplaying with you as saintoath and bitterkit. - : i love saintoath and mercilessveil's dynamic a lot. even though they bicker and fight, they still work off of each other so well and are just trying to be the best cavernclan cat they can be. they're both odd ones out in the clan and in general, and i think that made them a really interesting duo. i'm always down to roleplay with them if you want. - : thank you so much for giving me saint, i honestly adore him so much and i owe a lot of his character and development to acrimonyhaunt. - : hey charlie!! i'm really excited to roleplay with enmitykit and saintoath with all the stuff we have planned, from saint not realizing enmity is his kid to enmity antagonizing his future siblings, i'm looking forward to the future. - : dude. okay first of all tysm for designing saint, secondly tysm for nightmare and solar's dynamics, i literally loved them even if we didn't rp much
