But Lou Jitsu came and rescued them and the lab explosion went wrong. The mystic energy used to make her kicked her into the Kraang’s prison dimension before she ever knew her family. • An alien named Arcturus found her and raised her in hiding using an invisibility device. When she was only four, the Kraang found out about him and killed him. He was an alien whose planet was destroyed by the Kraang. He got involved and was imprisoned with them. • For years after that, she was a ghost: she scavenged for food, had to learn how to fend for herself, and began to go insane. • To keep her sanity, she played her lute, which ended up in the prison dimension with her. Because the Kraang hurt her, she lived her entire life wearing earplugs, and her powers were weakened. She didn't even know about them until she escaped. She couldn't listen to any sound, because the pressure would collapse on her head and she would die. • She finally escaped and found her brothers after the portal was opened, becoming a musician warrior with her Hamato ninpo. They fought the Kraang together in the invasion. Everything looked fine on the outside, but a piece of the Kraang had latched onto her soul. • It’s a sentient parasite that talks to her and forces her to do horrible things, like hunting and eating humans. It "loves" her and wants to "merge" with her. It didn't happen until later on, though... • After the Kraang invasion, the parasite got stronger. It started messing with her memories, making her forget her brothers and think the Kraang was her only friend. Because the process was so slow and quiet, taking months, her brothers didn't notice she was "merging" with the monster. It's not too late for her, though.
