here it is.. the first scratch taiko clone to ever go for a new stylization, while also staying pretty dang true to the series (in addition, a few interesting new features)! and this time, it's an RPG! you hit dons and kas to damage your opponent during your turn, and you dodge by doing the same during your opponent's turn! there's no ranks, only time! the faster you defeat your opponent, the better you are! the song ends when you defeat your opponent or if the song ends on its own! depending on your chosen difficulty, your max health will decrease the higher it is, meaning you have less room for error! along with that, your opponent's max health decreases! good luck with that! notes are based on the timer. you may not need to double click the flag, since the timer resets when a difficulty is chosen. when you're making a chart though.. for sure, double click the flag. -----------------TIPS AND INSTRUCTIONS------------------- when creating some chart(s) for a song, set the "dev mode" variable to 1! toggle this on by pressing the A key! you will be using the notes sprite entirely to try and make charts for one song. you may add any difficulty of chart, even all five if ya want. in order to add a difficulty, chart first. then once you chart, to convert the chart into a specific difficulty, press 1 (easy difficulty), q (normal difficulty), 2 (hard difficulty), w (oni difficulty), or 3 (ura oni difficulty)! everything is transferred over to that difficulty, so depending on your song length, you can finish all 5 difficulties in a minimum of 30 minutes or so! and for the song info, make sure to make the title of that info to be matching the difficulty that was put down. toggle off dev mode by pressing A and clicking the green flag so you can test that chart. be patient for the conversion though, as it can take up to around a minute and a half to convert a chart over to a difficulty. visual events like gifs and image jumpscares can be added via the "funny stage events handler" sprite, where you just may have to uh.. figure out the timestamp for those. -------------------------------------------------------------- Playing AND all interface controls: Left KA: D Left DON: F Right DON: J Right KA: K Other of all interface controls: Toggle go-go on or off: V Only simple interface controls: Toggle balloon on or off: H Small roll (21 frames): G, do nothing else Tiny roll (7 frames): G, then R Extra small roll (15 frames): G, then T Medium roll (33 frames): G, then Y Large roll (45 frames): G, then U Extra large roll (72 frames): G, then I Other only advanced interface controls: Change note rate: R Restart song: T Mutiply note rate: Y Divide note rate: U Reset note rate: 6 Input the extra time before after the silence: Left arrow Input the amount of silence beats at the speed of the current note rate: 5
