This is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that gives him the ability to control, create and turn into sand at will. He is weak to liquids as is clumps his sand together. He introduced in the "Alabasta" arc as "Mr. 0," the main antagonist and leader of the organisation "Baroque Works." He is reintroduced in the "Impel Down" arc as a supporting character. He also owned a casino/resort in Alabasta called "Rain Dinners." His favorite food is Crocodile meat and raw tomatoes and his least favorite is ketchup.
