arrow keys, click, or space to proceed :p on second thought I might have been able to fit it in here but nvm lmao have fun reading this ig teehee omgomgomgoomg i keep forgetting stuff i want to write in and i'm too lazy to edit so i'll just add it here -Lucid's design. a detail i forgot to mention is how her head is literally in the clouds - like how she views the wants of other cats to be far-fetched and nonsensical, and perhaps also blinding them to the damage this brings to everyone around them? woo - i should also add that lucid keeps around the corporeal bodies of her victims, not only to force them to suffer through the pain of isolation and guilt, but also because they fill up some of the loneliness he has. - cats physically cannot stay in his dreamscape due to its nature - they will be forced out or if unable to, killed if they stay for too long. therefore, only when he has the cats complete trust and full power can she take them in, to maximise their chance of being captured. - her dreamscape manifests as green hills and bright blue skies mostly, but sometimes subtly mirrors his emotions - whether this is through the landscape greying out, filling with more clouds, or tinted red, etc. - the landscape is never flat - so that she is able to hide the bodies of the cats whenever merchant guy comes along, and partly because looking out across an open field feels far too lonely, far too vulnerable. he hates it.
