Hello everyone, I wanted to let you all know that I’ll be leaving Scratch for a while. I’m following my dream of becoming a professional Olympic runner, and I’ll be going to the USA for training. I’ll also be starting school again in the place where I used to live. This is a really big step for me, and I’m excited to work hard and see how far I can go with my running. Even though I won’t be active on Scratch, I will always remember the friends, projects, and memories I made here. When my training is finished, and when I return to Korea, I plan to come back to Scratch. I’m looking forward to that day, and I hope we can create and share even more amazing things. Thank you for all your support and kindness. I’ll miss you all, and I hope you’ll cheer for me as I chase my dream.
Translation to Korean: 안녕하세요 여러분, 잠시 스크래치를 떠나게 되었다는 소식을 전하고 싶어요. 저는 달리기 선수가 되는 꿈을 이루기 위해 미국으로 가서 훈련을 받으려고 해요. 그리고 예전에 살던 곳에서 다시 학교도 다니게 될 거예요.저에게 정말 큰 도전이지만, 열심히 노력해서 제가 어디까지 갈 수 있는지 보고 싶어요. 비록 스크래치에는 자주 못 들어오겠지만, 여기서 만난 친구들, 만든 프로젝트들, 그리고 추억들은 항상 기억할 거예요. 훈련이 끝나고 제가 한국으로 돌아가면, 다시 스크래치에도 돌아올 계획이에요. 그날이 오면 여러분과 함께 또 멋진 것들을 만들고 나눌 수 있기를 기대하고 있어요. 언제나 응원해 주고 잘 대해 준 여러분께 정말 감사해요. 여러분이 많이 그리울 거예요. 제가 꿈을 향해 달려가는 동안 계속 응원해 주시면 정말 행복할 것 같아요.
