[SPOILERS AHEAD] As amazing as this movie was visually, the pacing was insanely fast, like blink and you miss it type. Yoshi was hilarious and obviously the best character, Fox too. Also the references and other Nintendo character cameos were OFF THE CHARTS. Dry Bowser was cool asf, and the dynamic between the Mario brothers, who we finally get to see together the entire movie, was also a love letter. I have one problem though.... How they handled Rosalina was kind of a mess, she felt more of a damsel in distress type thing, Brie Larson did such an amazing job as her voice actress though. The main thing I'm mad about is that Rosalina's backstory was CHANGED, literally, they didn't do the mother under the tree type thing in the games and made her SISTERS WITH PEACH. But yeah, overall I rate this movie a 8/10, it was fun and enjoyable even if it lacked some things that made the games emotional and special, if you like the first one you'll like this one.
