April is -exual assault awareness month the color is teal this time (idk if the color in the project is teal..) this is to prevent sexual assault, raise public awareness and educate communities (maybe more that idk abt). Sexual assault is sexual assault (ofc), abuse or harassment. It is to wear something teal like even a bracelet maybe to raise awareness etc etc. it is usually worn on the first tuesday ( WHICH I FORGOT IM SORRY ;-; ) to know yu guys aren’t alone ( or js to support). it’s to normalize trying to help s.a. survivors and open up convo and some ways to cope better then s.h. ( in the march important one) most sa are 1 to 2 in women, 1 to 5 in men. thats a big difference and i hope it stops..
