Coggia. 18:16 pm. a horrible act of terror was committed against the Nexian people tonight. explosive charges were detonated on the third floor of the city hall in Coggia. the immediate explosion enveloped half the floor of the third and fourth stories, instantly killing all felines on those floors. the explosion caused vibrations to run throughout the building damaging the support structure and de-stabilizing the building. a second charge was detonated about twenty seconds later on the sixth floor of the building also killing all those on the floor. the second explosion caused the weakened steel support to bend and snap, resulting in the building twisting off it's base and tumbling to the ground diagonally. the building fell across the street and crushed an apartment complex on the other side of the street. all suspects are still at large. -casualty report- - 538 wounded - 512 dead - 26 survivors
We questioned a few felines that were close to the scene of the attack, the only reason they were there when the attack happened is because, in the words of one of them; "there was a traffic jam, a big one, it was backed-up bumper to bumper as far as the eyes can see." the police were there on account of the traffic jam, they had no idea about what was going to happen in the next few minutes. this is the account of an business worker in another building that was next to the one that got destroyed. "I was working my job, as the CEO of the CUC(credit union of Coggia) a very important job I must say, oh, the attack? Right yes, I was not really paying much attention to the time, but around 11:00 then was a explosion, obviously, we all started looking in that direction, we immediately started dialing 121(Nexian emergency number) but there's not much saving they could do, because the explosion happened halfway up the building, and made it fall on another building, I did not see much after that." This is an account of a man in one of the cars. "The explosion? couldn't tell ya much, I was just in town to get some groceries, I heard it explode, yeah, everyone for miles did, I heard it, but when I looked over, I just saw the building coming down on the other, of course I immediately called 121, but there were so many other people phonin' in that I couldn't get an answer I did see two people on top of a building behind the building that exploded, but when I looked back at the road, I had swerved off to the left, my car got totaled, man, I hate my ADHD." He continued to talk on, but his conversation shifted to something else, so we cut it off there. when asked about the origin of the attack, many Nexians believed that organized crime associations were to blame for this. and while that theory is not entirely wrong forensic studies have suggested that it is far worse. it is believed that the attack was committed by a group of four individuals, two planting bombs inside the building, the other two climbing to the top of an apartment half a mile away. the investigation of the scene led to the discovery of where the criminals were when the bombs were detonated. the officers found a discarded remote detonator lying on the ground, a pair of cheap binoculars, and an ominous message in red spray paint with the bottle laying destroyed on top of the message. according to the authorities the message read "Abesso Nexia" or " down with Nexia" however this is yet to be confirmed as the entire apartment is closed to the public. all items found were sent to forensic labs. it was found that the criminals had covered their tracks well. but one of them had messed up. a 24 year old feline by the name of Alonso Alfreduccio from the zamundan territory had been struggling to get the cap off his spray can and took off his gloves, leaving a smudged fingerprint. there is evidence of him apparently trying to wipe the can clean. the only other lead that has been gathered so far was a fingerprint from the detonator. it was gathered that this print was from the dealer who was outside of coggia serving time in prison for selling illegal weapons. The Nexian police force has stated that this is a horrible act of terror which was committed by the organized crime in Nexia. but internally the police force knows it's something much more sinister. many detectives believe that there is more to come, more bloodshed and chaos, even more than this. someone out there will not stop until Nexia is destroyed... halo ODST music... trust, it's a moon
