Read the full instructions, some features are enabled by pressing certain buttons. OBJECTIVE: Move around the level eating bananas. When the food variable reaches 0, you win! CONTROLS: - W or up arrow to move forward. - S or down arrow to move backward. - A to move left, and D to move right. - Left arrow to look left, and right arrow to look right. - SPACE to toggle between standard left/right arrow turning controls and turning with the mouse. Arrow keys are easier, but mouse control is more immersive. - E to toggle map, useful for finding bananas - Q to toggle variables, useful for seeing the topmost part of the screen, especially when looking at the map. VARIABLES: - FOV changes how much you can see. I prefer 80. - RES changes how detailed the textures are. Lower is more detailed and more laggy. You want to set res to a low value that has similar fps to the highest value. for me this is a fps of 30 and a res of 6 - FPS is frames per second, the speed of your game. - FOOD is how many bananas are on the map. If you get this to 0, you win! Wow thanks for reading the full instructions!
Thanks to griffpatch's raycasting tutorial series, without it this would not have been possible. https://scratch.mit.edu/users/griffpatch/ An alternate version of this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1296962288/ A previous version of this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1297500582/
