Kurapika Mod Monster World ———————SPOILER WARNING —————— If you have not watched the full Hunter X Hunter anime, this game may contain mild spoilers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ April 4th 2026 I’m happy to finally be able to share this project that I’ve been working on for the past few months, especially since today is Kurapika’s birthday. (Also mine :D). Some parts are kind of glitchy, and I don’t think this mod is very balanced, but I had a lot of fun making it. To all other Hunter X Hunter fans seeing this project, I am aware that some of the abilities in the game do not match Kurapika's actual abilities perfectly, but with the limitations of the game, I tried my best to make abilities that made sense. (Also a few abilities added as a joke, and a few are based on Kurapika character songs.) Anyway, without further ado, please enjoy this project! :) This game contains: - Around 40 added abilities (Plus a few more status cards) - 1 added enemy - 4 added items - 25 added status effects - A few added events
@Apfellord - original game. Shoutout to the other person on this account for drawing the Hisoka sprite and some of the status effects. The characters in this mod are characters in Hunter X Hunter, a manga and anime written by Yoshihiro Togashi. Added music: Hi Ni Moeru Hitomi (Kurapika character song), sang by Miyuki Sawashiro (Kurapika’s voice actor in HxH 2011) Hunter March, Hiiro no Hitomi no Aika, and Kijutsushi no Baire, composed by Yoshihisa Hirano Hunting for your Dream, 2011 Hunter x Huntemm song by Galneryus Tobira, Gon and Killua version composed by Toshihiko Sahashi, and sang by Junko Takeuchi and Kanako Mitsuhashi, Gonn and Killua’s voice actors in Hunter x Hunter 1999. Also, the music box version. (I’m not sure who originally made it) Additional Credits The Miku Miku beam sound effect, from a song by SAWTOWNE. The “Eating Cake” card is based on a mobage card about Kurapika’s birthday. Additionally, some of the images in the game are based on reference pictures in the anime. (The added cards, character animations for Kurapika, and other added images in the game are drawn by me, sheeprockets4, using procreate). Some cards (Hi Ni Moeru Hitomi, Inori, and Gekkou) are named after Kurapika character songs. As for where I found some of these songs on scratch, I got one from a project by @ShortWifu, and a few from projects by . I had originally planned on adding more music to this game, but could not find it on scratch.
