Chapter Three After I shut the doors I turned back and dug out my phone. "I'll trust you on this," I whispered, the message was to Kindling. I don't usually win fights like this against my siblings. Kindling wasn't a sibling though. She snickered and I rolled my eyes, knowing she couldn't see me through the screen "Glad ya finally came to your sense," she said, smugly. I shook my head, teasingly. Though, I still feel I failed my ancestors by shutting the gates of the Otherworld. But warping somebody's imagination into another world just doesn't seem right. "Bye bye," I said and the phone beeps as Kindling hung up. I put the phone on my nightstand and hop into bed. The moon was way above the horizon, though I swear I saw hints of the sun's rays peaking just over the line between the sky and land. Even though I shut the gates, I know one thing. No matter what, I have to face my ancestor's creation.
