s0, f0r ELA, we read fl0wers f0r algern0n. I w0nt g0 int0 much detail, as sp0ilers and stuff, + I wanna make a pr0ject g0ing int0 m0re detail ab0ut it later, but it's ab0ut this guy named Charlie G0rd0n, and he is mentally disabled. He ends up getting a surgery that makes him smarter, but things d0nt really w0rk 0ut f0r him in the end. It was 0riginally a n0velette, 0r a sh0rter st0ry than an actual n0vel, but it l8r g0t adapted int0 a full b00k and expands the st0ry. f0r class I read the n0velette versi0n ( i believe??? I kinda dk ToT) 0nce I read the b00k, I might make a review 0f it. But f0r the n0velette/sh0rter versi0n: 9.5/10. I generally really enj0yed it, and I pers0nally kinda rel8d t0 Charlie as a mentally disabled pers0n myself. They 0nly really bad things ab0ut it are the crush he gains 0n his night sch001 teacher (he is 33 0r 37, and she is ar0und that age, I just generally d0nt really like student x teacher dynamics) + s0me parts I c0uldn't really wrap my head ar0und, but that was m0st likely bc I was kinda spacing 0ut while reading it s0 there's that then theres the m0vie adapti0n. My m0m f0und it 0n y0utube and we watched it. It really wasn't that g00d. I give it like a 4/10. It d0es stay true t0 S0M-E parts 0f the n0velette, but it als0 adds 0nt0 things and ign0res parts 0f the 0g st0ry. biggest 0ffender: making the st0ry m0re ab0ut Charlie and his teachers r0mance + s0me parts were just s0 bizzare idek what was g0ing 0n anyways ts is already t00 l0ng s0 uhhh yeah ::::33333333
