Crickets chirped. a emu, uh... emued Queen Thorn Ran through the palace, gasping for breath. she had PROMISED Sandstone, before she and her secret mate died, to watch her egg hatch. as Queen Thorn Reached the Brick room, with her guards posted at the door, slowly snoozing, She noticed something. A wierd dent was in the side of the egg. 'What happened?" she asked herself, then the gards. they were asleep. she decided she would yell at them later. then, the egg cracked. The dragonet was Haching. when it was done, Thorn Gasped. The dragonet only had three claws on her front talons, AND had the SMALLEST tail she had ever seen! "The tail will grow longer..." she reassured her self "The talons wont though." she paused. Both the dragonet's parents were dead. Thorn thought for a moment. then she knew. "I'll name you..." "Three-Claws." Thorn knew life would be hard for Three-claws, having three claws. She really hoped the dragonet's tail would grow longer. It Never Did.
