Today, I brought frost to the outdoor arena with his tack. He let me sit and followed my commands easily, though he came close to bucking once. After i rode him in a few circles, I got off and removed his tack and put on his pasture set. He looked at the blanket like ‘what is this thingy? Get it off!’ But I managed to coax him into wearing it without shaking it off before I secured it. Then, I took him back out and got a bright green tarp and waved it around his body. When I waved it around his rear end, he looked pretty uncomfortable but did not run away. I am very happy with his performance and hopefully next time I continue desensitizing him he will show the same results!
