SPAMMM THAT FLAG (I have found that this is SIGNIFICANTLY slower on phones (at least mine lol) so I'm super sorry about that TvT) This is my second entry for asylum in batch 2 of the DTA (first one can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1299284403 ) It’s probably apparent that I’m not an avid coder/animator lol and if this lags or doesn’t lineup, it might be because I made everything on my Chromebook but it looks fine on there oh well Backstory: Asylum hadn’t always looked like this. In fact, he had once been a regular stray cat, digging through the dumpsters and roaming the streets of the city he lived in. He stole to survive, like most strays did. The day Asylum died, he was outrunning a person whom he’d stolen food from, weaving through warning signs and strands of caution tape surrounding a closed-off construction site. Asylum didn’t notice the truck backing up until its loud beeps sliced through the air. By then, his body refused to move, as if it knew there was no point in trying to escape. In the afterlife of his universe, ghosts take on shapes reminiscent of what brought them there. Asylum’s ghost remains in the same city he lived in, lingering in places where things have gone wrong or are about to. While people can’t see him, they see what he leaves behind. They say if you see a string of caution tape surrounding an area, Asylum has already been there. He protects the living from making the same fatal mistakes that he did, keeping them away from danger. (name stays Asylum until I can think of a better one lmao) some parts are still a wip, but this is the base story I first thought of when I saw Asylum.
