I recently learned that Scratch has started using AI and training it with people’s projects for a reason that I do not know. I am against websites that use it because it makes me feel uncomfortable. I also feel this way about their membership. Update: It’s real. I reviewed the Terms of Service (screenshotted as a backdrop on this project, viewed via clicking) and it admits to maybe using AI. Scratch was my childhood! I can’t believe they ruined it (for me, at least) by adding this feature! I feel like it’s only for money now. I wanted to study computer science like my dad because of it. Now I feel empty… I will share my ok-ish projects that I have been working on for a while but I probably won't share new ones. I will still engage in the community via commenting but probably not much else.
