═════.❁.══════ Plant of the tn: Joshua tree! Welcome! I've been very into photography recently! So yeah, here are some pictures I took on my 1-week vacation to California! (And some misc photos that I wanna share) Hope you enjoy :D (Also, idk what type of camera I use, but it kinda sucks lol) I never ended up taking pictures of Channel Island, unfortunately :( But I think I took pictures of most places I was at! ━━━━━━━━━━ 1. I was back home so I decided to take soe photos of the wildlife where I live :DD I really like this moss! 2. A creek :) Why does it look yellow? :sobs: 3. A dandelion! Fun fact, this is my friend's favorite flower :DDD And one of my favorites too! (If you're curious, my favorite is the Mimosa tree flower!) 4. This weird plant that I thought looked really cool! I later learned it was dried Lyreleaf Sage :D So I took a picture of myself/silly 5. This is a little snail I saw in Switzerland :D This picture is pretty old btw :3 6. This is peak cinematography of me holding a lemon T-T This was also like 4-5 years ago lol, though I still have that abnoxiously colored shirt....Also I had to cover a bit of my face 7. A picture of Turks and Caicos from the airplane! I went there about a year ago for like 4 nights and it was literally so nice there! 8. I was at some random garden place and thought this looked cool 9. My mom being goofy and giant lilypads :3 10. Woah, pretty tree. Btw same garden as 8 & 9 11. Uh, I think these are orchids, and they look really cool :DD 12. Some random picture of the desert area of the gardens! 13. Another picture of that! Fun fact about me, I love cactuses to no end :D Except when they poke me lol Now time for California pictures 14. This hammock in the house we stayed at! It was super nice and I loved sitting in it and looking at the mountains. The place we stayed was about 5 minutes away from Joshua tree Nat park, so I could see it from the hammock! 15. Close up of a cactus :D I was pretty bored lol 16. The mountains! There super pretty and I saw tons of birds flying around + Joshua tree is perfect for stargazing! 17. Another cactus! This guy did actually hurt pretty badly, but it looks super cool :D 18. A super pretty Creosote bush! I've been wanting to see one of these for ages! They are awesome!!! 19. We were getting groceries, and I saw one of these :D They were all over the town next to Joshua tree 20-21. I've been talking about the park so much, so finally, pictures of it! The trees (Fun fact: there are actually succulents) are super cool, but we didn't end up seeing any large ones. 22. We were at this beautiful lookout over the mountains, and the town you can barely see is actually Coachella! We went like 2 weeks before it started, luckily. Now for channel islands :D 23-34. Milo! We stayed with my mom's friends, and they brought their dog with them! His name is Milo, and he was an absolute sweatheart :DDD 35. This was the dock that the boat to channel island was at! It was super pretty though it was like 6:00am so I was freaking tired lol 36. This was on the boat ride! There were tons of beautiful mountains like this! 37. This is a cave we stopped at on the boat ride...Apparently, when the tides lower, they go into that hole :S 38. Another cave we saw on the boat ride! This one was called painted cave... 39. Some plants on the cave wall that I saw! I really love how it looks :DDDD 40-41. Dolphins! We saw common dolphins everywhere on the way back and even got to see a feeding frenzy and whales lunge feeding. If your not a marine nerd, let me set the stage. The woman who was telling us about feed frenzies and lunge feeding had been working with whales for about 20 years and she /never/ saw whales lunge feeding (If you are interested in seeing what this is, I reccomend googling it) 42. Some really cool succulents that were at our house we were staying in on Channel Island! (We weren't staying on the island but a town pretty close by) 43. Some pretty lavender that was also at the house :D And Bee (?) 44. Morning glories! They were everywhere at that house! And I really loved seeing them! Though they were taking over the house lol 45. More plants at that house! It also had a giant hot tub and a trampoline :D 46. More succulents! I love these so much because of their gradients :DD Now onto misc photos 47-48. Great falls :D It's super beautiful and if you've never gone, you really should :D 49. Swiss sunset :D I was hanging out outside watching for deer, and decided to take of picture of the sky! 50-53. Some cat's I saw in Italy! I stayed in porto venere which is a beautiful little town in Italy! There were tons of cats there! 54. More Switzerland :D This is the view from my Aunts home :D 55. A little birdy, idk I was bored 56. Leo! This really awesome hunting dog I dogwalked for a couple of months. He ran away like 15 times and was freaking strong, but otherwise he was really cool!
