The displayed time until launch is very tentative (as of April 2026) and it could take much longer, however I used the date I did (see later in Instructions) as a ballpark estimate since NASA says that the plan is to launch Artemis IV in early 2028. During the mission starting just after launch, the live tracker will activate where you can see where the rocket currently is. As of april 2026, however, the details are subject to change and so I'll have to wait until closer to 2028 to actually code the tracker and right now it's not fully included in the project unfortunately. Current forecasted date: Jul 1, 2028 Why: Midpoint of 2028, since apparently I missed that the launch tower that was going to be used was actually cancelled and they're using a totally separate one instead. Also, the countdown was completely wrong because I set the date to Jan 1, 2030 instead of Feb 14, 2029 for some reason, I don't remember why. Historical forecasts: Forecast: 14 Feb, 2029 Why: Midpoint of the first quarter of 2029, due to the Art. IV Launch Tower being expected to be finished by 2029 but unlikely before 2028, meaning Art. IV is likely to be delayed to after that. Forecast: 14 Feb, 2028 Why: Midpoint of the first quarter of 2028, based on NASA's 2028 forecast
W_W Text Engine NASA Artemis IV Mission Credits can be found in the names of the songs in the project (not sure if allowed to link the original playlist I sourced them from) for the first four, rest by Xaf I recommend watching the official livestream or using the official NASA Artemis IV tracker for those who have access once the rocket takes off.
