Q1: What's your favourite genre/genres? A: Fantasy and romance Q2: Have you ever finished writing a story? A: Short story, yes. Long fic/story, no, BUT I'm like halfway(?) through an OG story I want to publish one day!! Q3: First person POV, second person POV, or third person POV? A: Third person limited or first person! <3 The latter is a newer style, I used to only write in third person limited. Now I do both-! Q4: Do you have a favourite author? If so, who? A: MXTX!!!! I loooooove her omg <3 Q5: Do you want to be a writer when you're older? A: YES YES YES!!! Technically I'm already a writer, just not an author... WELL, technically I'm kinda a self-published author, but ehh I don't count that book. Q6: Do you have any advice for writers? If so, what is it? A: Forget being perfect... No one is and I can tell you from experience that it just slows you down when you stress over details. Just edit later. Also, KEEP WRITING! Even if you're in a slump-! If you stop, you lose your passion and your skill. Q7: When it comes to writing, are you a perfectionist? A: YES ;-; It's bad Q8: Have you shared a story on scratch before? A: Yes! Three fics and a bunch of short stories/poetry Q9: What's your favourite plot structure? (7 point plot structure, hero's journey plot structure, etc) A: I don't have a favorite, they're all good! Q10: What's your inspiration? A: My dreams and/or the random stories I make up before I go to sleep. It's both a coping mechanism and a way to make good plots :thumbs up: Q11: Do you like making graphic novels/comics? A: Yesss omg, I used to do that a lot-! I haven't done much art recently, though. Q12: Poetry, or story writing? A: I CAN'T CHOOSE- Q13: Fiction or non-fiction? A: Fiction all the way >:) Q14: What's your favourite book/series? A: Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (MDZS) by MXTX and Seafire by Natalie C. Parker! Q15: Do you believe in writers block? A: It's not a belief. It's real. Trust. (</3) Q16: What about reader's block? A: Also very real </3 Q17: Do you like putting references in your stories? (references to other books, a movie, songs, etc) A: YESSSS Q18: Do you like writing chapter books? A: Yes! Q19: Realistic fiction or unrealistic fiction? A: Ehh depends on the plot of the story, but I prefer writing unrealistic fiction because I don't have to do research or think about reality :D Who cares about being realistic ahahahaha...... (I'm just lazy) Q20: Have you ever written a character based on someone in real life? A: Yeah, lots :smirk: Take that as you will. Q21: Do you give MBTI personality types to your characters? A: No, and even if I decided to do that, THEY would be the ones choosing. They're in control, not me lol Q22: Writing in a notebook or writing on google docs? A: BOTH! Notebook for planning/rants, docs for actually writing (its easier to edit and erase) Q23: What do you think is the best thing for someone to do when they get writers block? A: Just think about the best parts of your book; that way, even if you can't write it for now, at least you'll stay inspired and be able to start right back up when the block goes away :) Q24: When did you realize you wanted to be a writer? A: When I was a wee tiny little kid lol Q25: Do you have a lot of OCs? A: YES ;-; Q26: Do you have a lot of stories you are writing? A: YES ahhh TOO MANY- It's impossible to work on all of them </3 Q27: What's the most difficult part of planning a story? A: Plot plotting omg, I can't force the characters to stick to the plot idea I had in mind ;-; It's so hard to plan ughh Q28: Do you do journaling? A: Yes <3 Q29: Do you write in one specific way/theme, or lots of different ways/themes? e.g. fantasy, third person, non-fiction, first person, second person, fiction, etc A: I'd say lots of different ways! I'm very versatile~ Q30: Do you find it hard to write the first chapter/ prologue? A: Sometimes, but typically not for stories. Essays, YES, books, no. Q31: Have you drawn your characters before? A: The non-human ones, yes, some. Q32: Have you roleplayed with your characters before? A: Uhh if making up random stories about them at night counts then.... I guess....?? But not really lol. Q33: Do you think you take way too long planning what to write instead of actually writing? A: Nope-! I don't plan :D I hope for the best Q34: What's your favourite part when editing? A: None. Editing is the worst :D Q35: What's your least favourite part when editing? A: All of it :D Q36: How long have you been writing? A: Ever since elementary school..? Idk, since whatever age kids can actually write coherent sentences lol Q37: Have you tried writing in a new way before? A: Yeah!
Q38: What, in your opinion, is the most fun theme to write about? (not genre. A theme is like war, coming of age, good vs evil, family, etc) A: Idk... maybe a good "betrayal comes from where you least expect" kind of thing? Or something about unbreakable sibling bonds, even through the struggles; I love good sibling representation <3 Q39: Have you written characters with sad backstories? A: Yeah ofc Q40: Have you ever written yourself in a story? A: ........................ NO- (yes) Q41: Do you usually unintentionally make a side character more interesting than a main character? A: No, but it happens a lot lol. I do think main characters are often overpowered, and realistically what's the chance the MC is the strongest in this story/world? :| Not high. So make your side characters have certain better/stronger traits! It makes the story more interesting when the MC isn't unstoppable or the best. Q42: Have you ever written a character as something other than a human? A: Yes Q43: Have you ever written the main character as the villain before? A: No... but I don't really think most of my stories have defined hero/villain dynamics. People are morally gray, yk? E.G. Pylee isn't a bad person, but she sets out to do bad things... for a good reason. She changes her mind, switches to a better path, only to turn right back to a cruel ending. She's not evil, nor a villain; she just wants to save her brother and bring the lower-caste the peace/respect they deserve. Q44: What's your favourite things to put in stories? (things you personally find entertaining to read/write) A: I LOVE stories where a character gets gravely injured and the person that secretly loves them just drops everything to cradle them and plead for them to stay alive... Tragic and beautiful~ Q45: Have you written romance before? A: Yeah :smirk: Q46: Do you put life lessons in your stories? A: Sometimes! Q47: What's your favourite character from a book? A: From my books, I like Fletch (TGT) and Ashi/Mek (GMYTMI). From other books, I like Wen Ning (MDZS) <3 Q48: Writing or drawing? A: Writing. Sorry guys, it's grown on me so much <33 Q49: Writing or reading? A: ....Both. Can't choose. Q50: Have you written a main character as the complete opposite of you before? A: Complete opposite?? Probably not.
