The Shadow Brokers are a faction running under the Equation Group (A massive alliance group between wealthy business corporation and families), and their duties are to monitor the activities of the corporates within the Group, as well as opposing "enemies". If any rule-breaking or enemy activities is suspected, the Shadow Brokers will handle it by breaking deals, expulsion from the group, or violence sent their way as a punishment. This faction is very internally divided, as the Equation Group consists of a vast amount of corporations, each with different views and motives- members commonly only work for a subgroup of companies for money / fame. Many members don't know, or even fear eachother. And the members of the Group fear them, too. Corporations and famillies in the Sea of Stars have long been depending on collaborative buisness like this. Without alliances, a buisness can quickly fall apart. "The SSS have no reason to meddle in their buisness. The Equation Group does provide the SSS with most of its funds, and the city's economy sadly relies heavily on the Group. characters ⏷ June Snow - 六月雪 A young, talented entrepreneur who is one of the main powerhouses in the Shadow Brokers. She represents and directs the Snow Family, one of the most powerful families in the Group. Within the group, she has veto power, and uses it to promote more humane ways of business. And she isn't even a true member of the group. She is an adopted child, later framed for murd@r from her older brother out of envy. When she was held captive in her residence, she practiced martial arts, economics, and ways to help those lower than her. When she was released after trial (this is where she met Eluservine), she saved the Family from an economic crisis, and by using humane methods lifted it to be one of the most powerful families in the Group. Now, she speaks out for the less wealthy and wishes to make a difference. She is also close friends with Eluservine. Janice Snow - 赞妮丝 · 雪 The exclusive bodyguard of June Snow, she was "adopted" by her after finding her on the streets. A master at developing small, self-defence trinkets, she was rasied at an "orphanage" that actually trained orphans in harsh ways to be servants for the Elites. Nanxing Ying - 南星 · 荧 Don't be scared by her appearance! The massive claymore that she calls Mr. Sword (that also has a reserved seat on her limosine) is usually only for cooking pizza or defending herself. Well, until she is sent to clear Corrosion Beasts or a gang hogging onto a Resource Extraction Site. Her past is largely unknown, and it almost seems that she appeared out of nowhere. She is mostly motivated by the handsome pay they offer in the Brokers. Oh, and she loves volleyball, too. credits ⏷ feel free to make fanart with credit!
