So, it turns out I do things other than scratch! Wow! Such a surprise! And one thing I do is make fursuits! This isn’t technically my first, I made a full partial Dinomask for Halloween that I keep forgetting to post. I just realized that both costumes that I have made are characters designed by @typhooneanimates. Probably because her designs are awesome. Anyways, I really like how it came out!!! The head is the only finished part. Now onto the process! Anything erased out is just parts of my house and my hands usually. 1-The humble beginnings. I made clay eyes covered in Saran Wrap to make them shiny, and I got @l3m0n-th3-silly to 3d print me a head base. I made it wearable with elastic and a foam back. Don’t mind the color, it gets fixed! 2: mouth!! She has 12 clay teeth and a tongue. She has a moving jaw. The tongue is a fabric covered piece of Eva foam. The mouth lining was so annoying to glue in! And now, time for the part where I locked in and it somehow only took a couple of days, 3: hair! It looks weird right now but just trust the process. 4: tape pattern! I used painters tape. It was surprisingly very easy, fun, and satisfying. I forgot to take a picture of the head base with the tape on though. 5: Fabric! You can see where this is going now. I really concentrated here and sewed it all together in a couple of days. 6: I pinned on the snout so i could test that it fit. It did! 7: My brother complained that the eyes looked creepy, and I agreed, so I drew on them with paint markers until they looked good. 8: the skin is sewn! It was really starting to come together. I really like how this turned out. 9: glued, sewn to the hair, and done! I added Latoya’s 4 golden horns. They are Eva foam wrapped in gold fabric. Ahhh I really love this!!!! 10: neck done! I had a HUGE struggle with the zipper and made some really dumb decisions. It all worked in the end though! The neck is separate from the head for a few reasons: A: I was lazy. Enough said. B: It would be hard to put on, due to how the zipper is and the head fits. C: The neck didn’t really align with the head opening, so I would’ve needed to add some extra pieces of fabric. D: It really helps with the heat problem. If I’m suiting on a hot day, I can just remove my neck. The head is now officially done! 11: cursed finished front view. Now do you see why I never draw front view Latoya? Anyways, onto the tail! 1: Supermotion tail base! It has an EVA foam center and segments of upholstery foam. It has an amazing wag to it! I also made the tail petal blade thingie.
