The place where the innocent go to d!e. She had everything she ever needed but she had sold her soul. She hated feeling dull. She mourned the day of the chapel speech when she would fall forward. She would keep on trying to be something more. But if you haven't seen, the place where they all go to d!e, may I tell you why. It's hard to resist and the water has risen high. Weeds have wrapped around your face You only ever won second place. They said she was qualified to always hide. They said, 'you'll make the perfect bride.' They said she was qualified and they all lied when they said she was fine. She's not anymore. She'll go to lock the door. She figured she was qualified to take a life and make it right. She figured she was qualified. And she lied when she said it was her time. ---- The dawn of this day when we forget our names. She felt so trapped by the very car door keeping her alive. She wanted to open it just to see if she still felt pain. There was blood on her shirt, an intentional stain. These days all she feels is shame. shame. shame. These days nobody thinks like her. Or maybe everybody does but they're to busy dealing with their own hurt. As I get older, I think it over, my hands get colder, blood will smolder, and my shoulder it will scream ; Can you save me? Please save me. Don't save me! ---- She went to lock the door, she's not here anymore. Watch as the waters rise. Weeds will wrap around your face You only ever got second place Watch as the waters rise. The place where the innocent go to d!e.
