Bio: (Note: totally fictional) Manfred is 2-10-2 Santa Fe type Steam Locomotive manufactured by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1922, and was one of fifty of engines of his class U-1 ordered to work for the Chicago, Minnesota and Michigan Railroad, and also were noted for using Vanderbilt Tenders. He was Assigned to Pull Passenger Trains (Most Notably Rochester Flyer, Dakota Yankee, Duluth Cannonball, Wisconsin Arrow, Missouri Limited, Indianapolis Flyer, Minneapolis Limited and Rockford Limited) and Freight Trains until 1950s, after realizing the economic challenges of keeping and operating an all-steam locomotive fleet, the CM&M decided to begin purchasing diesels being ordered from ALCO and EMD, respectively. In 1958, they began prioritizing a complete dieselization of the railroad. The following year, the CM&M began to retire their U-1s. So they Decided to Planned a Farewell to Steam Excursion in late 1950s. In 1959, Manfred was tasked to haul an 18-car Farewell to Steam excursion on the CM&M mainline, along with Tom, Leonard, Bernard, Eustace, Sarah, Eugene, Ethan, Adam (Ethan's Brother), Steam, Gabriel, Jake (Gabriel's Brother), Sheldon, Seth, Hank, Joey, Jeremy, Danny (Jeremy's Brother), Big Bubba, Phillip, Cooper, Therston, Blake, Fred, Burt, George, Jimmy, Ol' Number Nine and Brent. He was hauled it through the CM&M's Minneapolis Limited Division, and then he traveled over the Michigan Central Station from Detroit, Michigan to Chicago Union Station from Chicago, Illinois. After the excursion, He was retired from the CM&M, in November 1961. After his Retirement, he was Sold to Scrapyard in Chicago, Illinois, Along with Tom, Leonard, Bernard, Eustace, Sarah, Eugene, Ethan, Adam (Ethan's Brother), Steam, Gabriel, Jake (Gabriel's Brother), Sheldon, Seth, Hank, Joey, Jeremy, Danny (Jeremy's Brother), Big Bubba, Phillip, Cooper, Therston, Blake, Fred, Burt, George, Jimmy, Ol' Number Nine and Brent. Until 1964, when he was Donated to the C&NW (Chicago and North Western Railway)'s Kenosha Station in Kenosha, Wisconsin to put on Outdoor Display. Today, Manfred was on Static Display at the Kenosha Station in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Just like Big Bubba, Jake (Gabriel's Brother), Adam (Ethan's Brother) and Brent, Manfred was also unlikely to return to operational condition for the CM&M's Steam Program.
