Heyo!! Happy 14th birthday to this account lol, as promised here's the contest! Most people seemed interested in the comic contest; I may do a raffle or DMC sometime in the future though :-) . . ⭐ INFO & RULES . MAIN GOAL Contestants must create a small, original comic strip, featuring my character Wolf. ✔️ Comic MUST somehow incorporate the required character & elements: > Character: Wolf (reference inside project) > 3 Required elements: --- one of your favorite foods --- a teddy bear --- a news reporter (can be whatever species you want) The three elements don't have to be a major feature of the comic, but the more creative ways you can use them the better! For example, you could have a character wearing a shirt with a teddy-bear pattern and it would count as completing the teddy-bear requirement. Remember, all three elements must be present in your comic in some way! ✔️ Comic can be any length, including single panel, strip, multiple slides, etc! ✔️ You may incorporate other additional characters if desired! If you use someone else's OC, make sure you do so with their permission. Your OCs, public domain characters, meme images, or licensed characters (e.g. Sonic, Spider-Man) may be included if desired. ✔️ The comic can be any genre; I expect most of the entries will be humorous, but if you want to and manage to create a serious comic, that is acceptable! ✔️ My character is a Warrior Cat, but whether you choose to reference Warriors is optional ✔️ Any program/software/media can be used, including traditional (on paper/etc), Scratch editor, outside art software, etc. ✏️ See inside this project for Wolf's character reference image & notes in the Refs sprite . ❌ All artwork & ideas must be original; the use or inclusion of bases, genAI, heavy tracing, etc.is prohibited. ❌ Please refrain from comic content that would be deemed offensive, political, or not Scratch-appropriate . ♥️ The winning comics will be judged on creativity, plot, humor/emotion, and art quality/effort. I will not be leaning heavily on the art quality though, even if you 'can't draw' you can still write a great joke or comic! . ⏳ Entries can be submitted up until the deadline of June 7. (Deadline has been extended by one week, the new due date is now June 7! Please note no further extensions can be given to ensure the contest remains fair.) ❕ To enter, please remix this project with your entry. (If you are unable to remix for some reason, just drop the link to your entry in a comment on my profile) . ☀️ PRIZES 1️⃣ First place: One shaded fullbody w/background, OR one character sheet 2️⃣ Second place: One shaded fullbody ⤴️⤴️ Two Runner-ups: One flat color fullbody each If you have questions about the contest, feel free to ask! . . ❔ Q&A (the contest isn't tied to the Q&A, if you're not interested feel free to skip lol) I'm going to do a small Q&A that I can post along with the contest winners. If you want to ask a question, just comment on this project and put "Q" before your question (e.g. "Q: what's your favorite cookie?") Please note that there are some questions I get all the time ⬣⬣ s̲o̲ p̲l̲e̲a̲s̲e̲ a̲v̲o̲i̲d̲: ⬣⬣ ⬣ "How old are you/What do you use to draw/What did you go to school for" / anything else that is already answered in my welcome project ⬣ "Do you have any art tips?" (I get this one a lot; I'll include a few tips in the Answers post but it's a rather generic Q) ⬣ "How do you draw cats?" (I made a tutorial here . Also have a fur/hair tutorial upcoming) ⬣ "How long have you been drawing?" (also kind of a vague question lol, I've been doodling on paper since i was really little but I started Scratch bitmap/MS Paint at 10, got Krita at 15, got a tablet at 18; do the math) ⬣ obv no questions against Scratch guidelines lol ☺ i think those are the biggest common Qs lol, anything else is fair game even if it feels random or overly specific lol. Questions don't need to be related to art or Scratch! . . . sorry that my writing always sounds like Chat Gippidy with the emojis n lists n stuff lol i just wish the site had more text editing options, i hate when its just a wall of plain text
