Visuals: On a navy blue background, a white plate is seen. Then, a waffle with a face appears and says the company name. A black rectangle with "Waffle Playhouse Inc." written all over it slides in from the right and takes up the whole screen. Variants: Some movies and TV shows would feature a copyright byline that would fade in underneath the company name once the animation finished. The 2012-2016 variants featured "Est. 1954" underneath "PLAYHOUSE" in the company name. Technique: A mix of 2D animation and CGI. Audio: A deep synth note held throughout, with a splatter when the waffle character appears, and a deep voice saying the company name, followed by a door close when the company name appears. Availability: Seen on all Waffle Playhouse-produced movies and TV shows from May 17, 1954 to July 6, 2009. Waffle Playhouse was bought back "by popular demand" on January 28, 2012, restoring the history of their original counterpart that had shut down three years earlier, and continued to use the 1954 logo until they shut down on November 7, 2016 due to lack of funds despite high respect from critics, with their final production being "Waffle's Final Farewell". If they had funds sufficient enough to continue producing movies and TV shows, they'd more likely than not still be in business.
