"I failed you" X3 -----------------BACKSTORY GOES HERE SOON------------------------------- Name: Topaz Gender: Female Topaz lives in an alternate world of "Dream" cats, cats who have died go to this world to make the dreams for more cats living on Earth. There is one strict rule that dream cats can't ever do, open up a boundary window to Earth and personally visit other cats. They can open up a window and peek through it and talk to cats in their dreams, but never while they're awake... Topaz of course, broke this very important rule and visited her sister, Em. (short for Emerald). The head of dream cats, Margay finds out that Topaz has escaped the DreamRealm and calls the royal guards to find and punish her with their worst torture cells. (bad things happen) Meanwhile, Em's family doesn't know who this new, strange cat is, but Em, deep inside, feels like she knows the newcomer (Dreamcats get a new look when they enter the DreamRealm) Unfourtunately, the owners of Em and her fam come home and notice that a new cat has entered the house. The "twoleg" daughter also feels like she knows Topaz, but before she can do anything, her father takes Topaz, and THROWS her into the nearby river, afraid for his daughter. During the fall, Topaz severely injures her back (Dreamcats lose their invincibility once they actually go to Earth, that's why it's against the rules to go there) Feeling petrified, cold, and getting weaker by the second, Topaz struggles to get back on dry land. Finally, she gets back on the land, but as she licks her wounds, she hears a familiar voice: "Oh, Topaz, I always knew you were rebellious, but this? Oh,*laughs* well, ha, I guess, this, this, you'll have to pay one scary price to get yourself out of this one, Topaz." Topaz whirls around, only to find Margay, and her two bodyguards, Fluffy and Sweetheart, behind her. (i am loving those names *snorts*) Digging her claws into the ground, Topaz shrieks: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?" Margay smirks and simply replies: "Why, I'm head of all Dreamcats, you don't think I come here on a daily basis? Ha ha, well, I just came for a little visit, just to do one thing for a second..." "Oh yeah? And what's that?" Topaz challenged. "Well, Topaz, aren't you just SO rowdy today, right? You've got me stressed!" Margay mocked, "I just came... to punish YOU." Topaz knew what was coming, for her cousin Millie had done the same thing years ago. The flashback came back to her, visiting her fear-stricken cousin, sobbing as she withered away in the torture cell.
