Chapter 5: "Where am I?" The world around Dex was a dark swirl of shadow. He took a step into the darkness. He then felt a falling sensation, but when he hit a hard surface, he had no pain from the impact. He saw himself! He was standing with Jen and talking about something. Dex was so dazed, he didn't understand anything. This moment felt familiar, but he couldn't figure out why. Dex saw Jen pull out her gun behind Dex. Why was this Dex so unaware of Jen? The world began to blur and spin. Dex fell again. This time it was further. Dex hit another surface. He saw Nex talking to him. This time he could make out what they were saying. "Dex! The mission isn't safe!" "I can do it! You said yourself that I am capable of anything!" Nex sighed. "I can't lose you. You are... So important to me" The world twisted into darkness once more.
