Welcome! → Bloodlines can have violence, de3th, though light, If you're sensitive to this I'd recommend finding another RP. → Please note this is a very simplified version of everything, Bloodlines is a big detailed system and requires a lot of reading on many projects to truly learn the entire system. However you don't need to know everything to get started, just enough. 1. Getting Characters Theres two ways to get characters. You can claim a cat from the litter studio from a litter or claim a cat from your own litter. Theres also broods you can claim from, a brood is a group of litters usually all parented when theres several births in a clan, broods usually have a theme and all the mothers raise their kits together. 2. Choose your path Choose the path of a medicine cat or a warrior. Please note that even if you choose to have MP tracked there is no guarantee that your cat will be chosen as a med cat. There is two tracking systems for clan cats, additional ones for each cat outside the clan. MP: or medicine potential is tracking for medicine cats or those who are interested in becoming medicine cats, you earn MP by doing medicine cat related tasks you can find in the project about MP. When a medicine cat is choosing a apprentice they will be given kits (and some apprentices if they have notable MP) who have the highest MP. XP: Is warrior tracking, find the action list in your ages according project (warrior, kit, apprentice etc) or the XP and levels project. LEVELS: a partner to XP, levels are a way of tracking XP, and younger cats grow levels faster then older cats as they learn faster, in a battle the one with the higher level untimely wins unless counting large age gap or disability. 3. Reputation System Reputation is tracked loosely, highest REP are more respected warriors of the clan and have slightly better chances at higher ranks. However there is another part to Reputation: Shadow. Every crime or ‘bad’ action the cat takes increases their shadow, if you get to 50 shadow you get a spot in the dark forest. 4. Events Bloodlines has almost. constant events, big or small. Event's include: The replacement in rouges, mice are no longer a problem in the farmlands and for two legs rouges are the new problem. It can be as small as thorny plants growing in heather clan to a clan-wide sickness or flood. 5. Territory Hazards Often enough the clans and out of clan territories will get hazards, for example Mistclan got a thickening fog that made the territory hard to navigate and confused patrols once, theres also Hazards like storms, slippery areas, dangerous waters etc. 6. Fighting System There are two modes: 1. Play-Fight Mode Light injuries only. Used for training, friendly battling. 2. Real-Fight Mode Major injuries are allowed. Consent is not required once both players choose real-fight mode. No instant kills, it follows the fighting system which should be read when entering real fight mode. 7. Simple Medicine Rules Medicine cats cannot heal instantly, they must track realistically, herbs are limited, and sickness levels can be un 8. Clan Structure Clans use the following ranks: Leader Deputy Medicine Cat Medicine Cat Apprentice Senior Warrior Warrior Apprentice Queen Elder Kit Additionally Daylight warriors for one clan. 9. Weather and Seasons Weather affects the clans: Fog makes MistClan patrols risky Storms cause RainClan flooding Wind disrupts HeatherClan hunts Cold snaps kill herbs Heat dries marshes Weather events may be announced by me or staff. ROUGES: Rouges have Respect (R) instead of EXP & Levels. They have a ranking system and often create groups that rival each other. The higher R they have the higher ranking they have, more they are respected, feared, and have more power. R is explained more in the Rouge Guide. KITTYPETS: Kittypets live in the garden, a neighborhood near a giant garden, their tracking system is called C or Charm, getting more C can get them unique accessories or privileges.
