press space to randomize the grid on the left, then try to get the grid on the right to match it by clicking on the stripes, or pressing corrosponding numbers, which basicall moves that stripe in front of the others. press "a" to hide/show border, and press "s" or "o", to show/hide numbers. press "m" to "wash" the state. official challenge, can you make every letter of the alphabet (in hide or show border) hint at bottom, you can make letters in blue or red but they have to be consistant across all letters, best solutions first posting will get a follow and like on all projects for that account, on 5/1/2026, I may do another challenge after that. hint: write out on paper or in your head a font ahead of time, you can never have a checkered 2x2 anywhere here so be aware of that.
you can also make patterns and post them in the comments! if you press 5678 in any order, the board will reset and you can post in the comments what numbers you press from there, for instance, pressing 5678-3478 Any combination can be made into a string 8 long, simply remove any times a key is pressed, except the last one. and you can press the first one over and over again to lengthen the string. (4x4) means to use the mode where it is a 4x4 block, (6x6) means the non-outlined 6x6 missing its corners, both are aesthetic specific to each pattern. outlined mode is very helpful for decoding the fastest way to reach a pattern. some of my other favorite patterns are: 14673 (6x6) 2641 (6x6) 26741 (6x6) 35841 (6x6) 25841 (6x6) 284561 (6x6) 3514 (6x6) 274815 (6x6) 1367248 (4x4) 123456 (4x4) 123478 (4x4) 12 (4x4) 34 (4x4) 23674 (4x4) 256834 (6x6) 368 (4x4) 2368 (4x4) 145823 (6x6) (4x4) a good way to find good patterns is to just grind randoms, then when you find a nice one try it.
