At least 50% of the impact/blast force from a shell is dispersed throughout the whole of the ship, minimizing the damage (by at least 50%). Tested before being launched and survived two PAYDAY strikes. All ammo magazines are pre-flooded, preventing the magazines from exploding. UPDATE: After the KSE testing revealed a problem, the ship was modified and underwent various stages of research and upgrades. It has now been proven to survive a 15 inch shell traveling at almost Mach 15 with minimal damage at it's weakest point (estimates put that much more force will be needed to cause significant damage, much less sinking)
